Welcome to our Blue Ocean Realty property! We look forward to providing you with your new home. Blue Ocean has a wide array of apartments and locations to choose from. Please fill out your application in full. Your application fee may be paid by money order, or credit/debit card at the time of submission. Unfortunately, we do not accept cash or check payments. We require the following documentation from all prospective residents:
- Social Security Number/Card or Tax ID Number
- Driver’s License or State ID
- Proof of income – may include two recent pay stubs, bank statement with direct deposit information, letter of hire stipulating start date and salary (not seasonal), and phone, fax, and email of Human Resources department at your place of employment on our Employment Verification form.
- After we receive your completed application, documentation, and fee, we will submit your information to a third-party firm who will conduct a background check referencing your criminal background and credit history. Using industry accepted standards, they will send us their recommendation for approval or denial of your application. We do this to best ensure the safety of all our residents.
- We require your monthly income to be three times your monthly rent to qualify for the lowest security deposit rate.
- However, if your monthly income is between two and a half times and three times your monthly rent, we will approve your application pending an additional security deposit of half a month more than the regular rate.
- We strive to provide you with an answer of your application approval within three business days, provided we are able to easily verify your application.
- If you have any issues we should be aware of, please be sure to highlight this with your Property Manager.
