On Tuesday, September 19, Blue Ocean assembled a team to make over 400 complete lunches and 150 toiletry kits for local homeless organizations Beans and Bread and Simple Sacrifice.

The event was part of an ongoing series of volunteer activities organized by Blue Ocean and funded by the company and donations from vendor partners. Comments like, “It’s amazing to have so many employees from the different properties we manage come together as a team to support another great cause!” and “What a perfect way to spend a Tuesday!” seem to perfectly capture the sentiments shared by all who participated.  And the statement that may say it best of all: “It just feels good when a company not only provides opportunities to give back to the community, but does so in a fun and collaborative way”.
