Blue Ocean Realty is proud to announce that our very own Erika Orlaskey, Director of Marketing and Performance, has won the 2017 Maryland Multi-Housing Association (MMHA) Miki Wilson Shining Star Award! Known as “The Oscars of the Maryland Multi-Housing Industry”, the MMHA Star Awards were created to honor owner-manager members and their employees who work hard to make their properties the most outstanding in the state.

All awards are based on nominations from MMHA members, and are judged by a third-party. The nomination process begins around March with a deadline in the first part of May. From late June through early August, all judging takes place, with property judging completed by mid-July. Each October, the winners are announced at The Star Awards formal dinner.

Since 1997, MMHA has recognized industry excellence at the annual Star Awards Ceremony. We are so pleased that Erika won the Miki Wilson Shining Star Award and we are already looking forward to next year’s gala!
